Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation received prior to dispatch of your booking – full refund.
Important – dispatch time will be earlier than the time you booked to be picked up.
Cancellation received after dispatch of your booking – partial refund may be possible, a charge will be made for the distance travelled by the vehicle.

Privacy policy

This site does not use cookies, no visitor information is stored or passed on to any third party.
All financial transactions are handled by PayPal.
Abacus & Falmouth Taxis Ltd do not store any customer financial information.

Opening a Business, Personal, or Top Up account

We offer both Business and Personal 30-day credit accounts, with optional security features.
Also available are Top Up accounts, ideal for family members with occasional travel needs.
Please download an application form in PDF format and return by email.
Save your paper, there is no need to print the document, you can use Acrobat Reader or other suitable applications to fill it in electronically.

Carriage of children

UK law states that taxis are exempt from legislation relating to children travelling in a baby/child seat or booster seat, more details can be found here. For Health and Safety reasons Abacus Taxis are unable to provide any form of child seat. If you require a child seat for your journey it would be the parent/carers responsibility to provide one and to fit the seat in the vehicle and to secure the child. If you are booking a return journey and have your own child seat, Abacus Taxis will store your child seat for the return journey, note that installation of the child seat must be carried out by you.

Is fare fair?

Use this external site to check a taxi fare or quote in the Carrick taxi zone. Just enter the distance and it will show the metered price for the journey, day or night.
