The Falmouth Business Improvement District (BID) is a not-for-profit business-led initiative delivering a host of exciting projects for the town. Over 400 businesses are part of it, following extensive consultation, ballot and overwhelming ‘yes’ vote. Numerous award-winning schemes have been delivered – destination marketing, new events and festivals, PR campaign, public realm improvements and business training programmes.

Operating since 2009, the Falmouth BID achieved an 87% YES vote upon renewal in Nov 2013, representing the strongest BID endorsement in the south-west. The second five-year term commenced April 2014. There are over 250 BIDs supporting and investing millions of pounds into towns and cities across the UK
